Deborah Feeney, NP


Deborah Feeney is our nurse practitioner at the Center for Advanced Orthopedic & Pain Management. She has 25 years of extensive experience in a number of different nursing areas. She joined our group in 2003.

Ms. Feeney has a very diverse and solid background in nursing and patient care. She became interested in nursing while in high school volunteering at local hospitals. For her exceptional performance, she received a Nursing Scholarship from Frederick Memorial Hospital for Outstanding Volunteer Services. She graduated from Frederick Community College with an Associate degree in Arts in Nursing in 1977. She was one of the very first who was granted Intensive Care Internships for graduate nurses at Suburban Hospital.

She went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Catholic University. She also has a Master’s degree in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner program from Marymount University.

Ms. Feeney worked in a number of lead roles in nursing at the Shock Trauma Unit of Washington Hospital Center and various other divisions such as the Electrophysiology Surgical Lab where she
worked as a cardiovascular arrhythmia Nurse Specialist. She also worked in Cardiovascular Open Heart Recovery Unit, Thoracic and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Units. Prior to her joining our group, Ms. Feeney held a position as Nurse Practitioner at the Loudoun Hospital Emergency Department.

Ms. Feeney has a special interest in orthopedic and spine related disorders. She believes in very high standards of medicine and a total patient care program where patients are active participants in their own care
