Our Mission:

The Division of Spine Surgery of the Center for Orthopedics & Pain Management seeks to improve the quality of life of our patients by treating disorders of the spinal column. Conservative treatment is our first choice of treatment for most disorders of the spine. If after a through examination and evaluation of the imaging studies, surgery is recommend, we offer the most advanced surgical procedures from minimally invasive spine surgery, motion preservation surgery, and the latest techniques in spinal fusion and reconstruction.

Each patient has unique needs and goals. As the director of the Division of Spine Surgery, I work very closely with other allied health professionals such as pain management specialists, radiologists, internists, vascular and general surgeons, anesthesiologists, therapists, case managers and social workers to offer the best care to each individual patient. Keeping the patient informed is of utmost importance to our division and we feel that an informed patient will have better results and compliance. We strive to provide comprehensive care of the spine to our patients by applying the state of the art techniques to restore function and improve quality of life.
