K. Todd Burnett, MSPT


K. Todd Burnett, MSPT, CSCS is the Director of Rehabilitation for the Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center.  He is a licensed physical therapist certified by the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  Todd completed his graduate training at the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University, earning a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.  His medical rotations included comprehensive training in acute care, outpatient neuro, and orthopedic and sports medicine settings. 

 

Todd has extensive experience in all aspects of orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation from acute injuries, post-surgical rehab, and chronic pain pathologies.  His post-graduate work has included comprehensive continuing education training in all aspects of outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine evaluation and treatment implementation techniques. 

 

Todd has lived in the metropolitan D.C. area for the past 8 years and was previously employed as Site Coordinator of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center of Kensington, Maryland.

 

Prior to his experience as a physical therapist, Todd was employed as a sales representative with 3M Corporation in Atlanta, GA.  He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
